The world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume Binance is set to launch futures trading very soon in a statement made by the company.
On Tuesday, Changpeng “CZ” Zhao, the founder and CEO of the binance exchange, is about showcasing futures trading interface during a presentation at the Asia Blockchain Summit in Taipei. Binance with features including longs and shorts on crypto assets.
According to the CEO, “the exact time is yet to be fixed but binance will be launching a futures platform very soon. In a few weeks from now the simulation test version will be launched ,” he said as he points out referring to the screenshot of the interface shown on the stage.
“ So Binance futures is coming, as you can see the main screenshot of the working system is here.”
The leverage will be offered for trading on bitcoin initially as he pointed out in his presentation and the leverage could be up to 20 times though a more standing date of the feature has not been released yet. A Binance spokesperson reported it’s plans to launch the test in about two weeks time. Margin trading on the platform was launched last month by the firm and now , features trading which will follow up.
Information from the company’s spokesperson added that, “Around July 11th this year, Margin trading will roll out to all users first while futures test net will come within a week after that.”
