Cybersecurity Honours at BoICT Awards 2019 Bestowed on Digital Encode Ltd.

The serial award-winning Digital Encode has bagged yet another award in the technology field. They are known for their quality-driven operations and high practice standards in Information Security Management and Compliance Advisory ecosystem. In 2015, the Central Bank of Nigeria re-appointed Digital Encode Limited, as the sole technical partner to the Nigerian Electronic Fraud Forum. Their impeccable record earned them the sole partnership spot with the Nigerian Federal Government again that year. They were appointed to ensure that the NeFF gets all the technical support needed.

The firm bagged awards at the 10th anniversary of Beacon of Information and Communication Technology (BoICT) awards 2019 in Lagos recently. The firm’s delegates received the award with all smiles in persons of Chief Research Officer and Director of Security Assurance, Dr. Seyi Akindeinde; GRC Consultant; Ifeoma Okoh; Chief Operating Officer and Director of Governance, Risk and Compliance, Dr. Wale Obadare; Senior GRC Consultant, Kenechi Obetta.

Dr. Seyi Akindeinde and Dr. Wale Obadare (Co-Founders of Digital Encode Ltd.) were both honored as well with the “Cybersecurity Personality of the Year” award, for their leading roles and exploits working in the IT and information security arena.

The awards were open to public voting for deserving recipients, so the concerned Nigerians have spoken through votes in favor of the firm. Mr. Ken Nwogbo, Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of Communications Week Media, said that Digital Encode has remained outstanding in Cybersecurity, Governance, Risk and Compliance advisory segment of the market while speaking on the award.

This 2019 award comes after Digital Encode has bagged several other awards in time past, inclusive of Cyber Security Company of the year in 2016 and 2017. Digital Encode Ltd., the technology magnate specializes in the design, management, and security of business-critical networks, telecommunications environments, and other Information Technology (IT) infrastructures.
