Pitch2Win competition is a flagship event of TechCircle. They are running a partnership with Freakout holdings of Japan in a bid to discover the most innovative startups in Nigeria, and then position them for local and international opportunities. The last edition of the competition saw 12 startups battle it out to win, through their pitches before foreign and local investors. This year, a rigorous screening process was undergone by seasoned Nigerian tech ecosystem judges, before the final ten startups were then selected to pitch for ₦1million in equity-free funding at the ‘Pitch2Win’ competition.
Founder of TechCircle Oo Nwoye, noted that there was an extremely high caliber of applicants and the judging team was presented with a tough choice in selecting the very best startups. He said: “Narrowing the final list down to the final 10 was a difficult process, and much-spirited debate was had by the judging panel. However, what ticked the boxes for our judges was the problem, market size, product execution, and traction. I would like to wish the finalists all the best for the Pitch2Win competition.”
